Audio

We offer a range of audio services, including Voice over and Audio Description.

Voice over - The voice over booth is 6' x 8' and can comfortably accommodate two people; equipped with 2 AKG microphones, Beyer headphones and LCD display. Laybacks from source material of differing frame rates is possible using a word clock generator to match in order to achieve perfect sync.

Audio Description - This service is used to enhance the experience for visually impaired viewers. A voice track describing the action in the programme is recorded, which sits alongside the existing programme sound (dialogue & M & E).

Restoration Filters can enhance the quality of audio. We can handle the following formats: WAV files to CD, (audio and data) tape transfers DAT, Tascam, and 16mm and 35mm sound magnetic film transfers.
